10th February 2008 - Division 1 - Easthampstead
Park, Wokingham.
Wanderers slipped
to a disappointing defeat against Keltar.
Nick Harding's
late arrival saw Wokingham begin the match with ten men and Lewis Trusty in goal.
The first half
saw no clear-cut chances for either side. Anthony Prior shot wide from Ian Griffiths' cross and Lewis Trusty, Andy Corless
and Simon Reip missed the target with shots from distance.
Keltar offered
very little and resorted to direct style of play without any results.
The second half
saw Wanderers fall behind within two minutes. A counter-attack down the left saw Harding exposed and after he was rounded
Chris Orbell just failed to clear off the line.
This prompted Wokingham
to raise their game slightly, and the introductions of Steve Martin and Phil Soane gave the Blues greater energy.
Keltar struck a
vital second as a cross from the right was headed beyond Harding, finishing the match as contest.
Wanderers nearly
grabbed a consolation goal as Prior ran at goal and shot just wide, but this was a performance that didn't really merit a
win.
